5 people who died via their invention




Invention as we know is a creative process made by a curious mind in most cases. We all should know that a lot has been given for the world to be what it is today and some lives were lost in the process.


-William Bullock : Born in 1813, and later died in the year 1867 after crushing his foot while trying to fix his Rotrary Press which he had earlier invented .


-Otto Lilienthal : Died after 2 days in a crash from his glider which he Invented.

-Thomas  Midgley :  Accidentally strangled himself with a mechanical pulley cord from his mechanical bed which he invented in 1944.

-Alexander Bogdamy : a scientist and physician who made the "Rejuvenation" technique where he made himself the first blood transfusion from a student who suffered from Malaria and tuberculosis, which later led to his death after some complications.

-Franz Reichelt : died while trying out his combined parachute after jumping off the "Eiffel Tower"
